| Assistant Teacher (Primary – Urban) |
Candidates must have a Graduation degree from a university established by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. They must also possess a recognized teacher-training qualification such as BTC, BTC (Urdu), Special BTC, 2-year Diploma in Special Education approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), 4-year B.El.Ed., or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) recognized under the NCTE Regulations, 2002. Candidates must also have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the State Government or Government of India. Note: The BTC course is currently conducted under the name D.El.Ed. |
