DSSSB - PGT Examination Exam Overview
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Examination is a competitive recruitment exam conducted to select teachers for Higher Classes (9-12) in Delhi government schools.
Exam Structure - Mode: Online Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Format: Single-tier exam consisting of 300 objective-type multiple-choice questions
- Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
- Total Marks: 300Sections - Section I (100 Marks): Covers General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, English Language & Comprehension, and Hindi Language & Comprehension (20 marks each).

- Unattempted Question: 0 marksEligibility and Selection - Prerequisites: Master’s degree in the concerned subject plus a degree in education (B.Ed or equivalent).
- Selection Process: Based on performance in the written test followed by document verification; no interview round is conducted.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for General/EWS, 35% for OBC (Delhi), and 30% for SC/ST/PH.
